This policy explains how the browser extensions published by TARKO EVOLUTION SL ("we", "us") under the Extensions Hub (extensionshub.net) handle your data. It applies to ModHeader Extension and to our other extensions distributed here.
The short version
Our extensions run locally in your browser. We do not collect your browsing history, page content, or any analytics. The only personal data we ever handle is what is strictly needed to sell, deliver and validate an optional one-time Pro upgrade: the payment goes through Stripe, and we keep your email to send you the license key.
Data we do NOT collect
- Your browsing history or the pages you visit.
- The content of web pages, or the body of your HTTP requests or responses.
- The rules, profiles and preferences you configure (these are stored only in your browser).
- Diagnostics or usage analytics. Our extensions contain no telemetry, tracking or advertising.
Data we do handle
Pro purchase. If you buy a Pro upgrade, the payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details and email address to issue a receipt; we never see or store your card details. After payment a license key is generated.
Emails. We keep the email address and first name you gave at checkout, linked to your license key. We use them only to send you the key, one single message the day after your purchase asking how you rate the extension, and to answer you if you write to us. No newsletters, no marketing. These emails are sent through Resend.
License validation. The extension stores your license key in your browser's local storage and sends it to our server (extensionshub.net) only to check that it is valid and unlock Pro. No personally identifiable information is sent in that check, only the key.
Extension permissions
Permissions vary per extension and are explained on each store listing. For ModHeader Extension:
- declarativeNetRequest (with host access): to apply or redirect headers through declarative rules. The extension does not read the content of your requests; the browser applies the rules.
- Host access: so your header rules can apply on the sites you choose (via URL filters or regular expressions). It does not mean we read or store the content of those sites.
- storage: to save your rules, profiles and preferences in your browser.
- Access to extensionshub.net: solely for Pro payment and license validation, including a small script that runs only on our own thank-you page after purchase to activate your license automatically.
Our website
This section is about the extensionshub.net website, not the extensions, which still collect nothing. The ModHeader Extension page uses Google Ads conversion measurement to learn whether a visit that came from one of our ads ended in a click on "Add to Chrome". Google receives that event, the ad click it came from and basic technical data such as your IP address and browser. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it runs without cookies, sending only anonymous signals. Elsewhere Google may set a first-party cookie for up to 90 days. We do not use this data for anything else, and you can block it with any content blocker without losing any feature of the site.
Third parties
We share data with three third parties: Stripe, to process the Pro payment, under its own privacy policy, and Resend, to send the emails described above, under its own privacy policy, and Google, for the ad measurement described above, under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Retention and your rights
Your rules, profiles and preferences live in your browser; you can delete them at any time from the extension's settings or by uninstalling it. License and purchase records are kept for accounting and support purposes. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification or erasure by contacting us.
