This policy explains how the browser extensions published by TARKO EVOLUTION SL ("we", "us") under the Extensions Hub (extensionshub.net) handle your data. It applies to ModHeader Extension and to our other extensions distributed here.
The short version
Our extensions run locally in your browser. We do not collect your browsing history, page content, or any analytics. The only personal data we ever handle is what is strictly needed to sell and validate an optional one-time Pro upgrade, and that is processed by Stripe.
Data we do NOT collect
- Your browsing history or the pages you visit.
- The content of web pages, or the body of your HTTP requests or responses.
- The rules, profiles and preferences you configure (these are stored only in your browser).
- Diagnostics or usage analytics. Our extensions contain no telemetry, tracking or advertising.
Data we do handle
Pro purchase. If you buy a Pro upgrade, the payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details and email address to issue a receipt; we never see or store your card details. After payment an anonymous license key is generated.
License validation. The extension stores your license key in your browser's local storage and sends it to our server (extensionshub.net) only to check that it is valid and unlock Pro. No personally identifiable information is sent in that check, only the key.
Extension permissions
Permissions vary per extension and are explained on each store listing. For ModHeader Extension:
- declarativeNetRequest (with host access): to apply or redirect headers through declarative rules. The extension does not read the content of your requests; the browser applies the rules.
- Host access: so your header rules can apply on the sites you choose (via URL filters or regular expressions). It does not mean we read or store the content of those sites.
- storage: to save your rules, profiles and preferences in your browser.
- activeTab: for the "lock a profile to the active tab" feature, which uses the current tab id only when you ask for it.
- Access to extensionshub.net: solely for Pro payment and license validation, including a small script that runs only on our own thank-you page after purchase to activate your license automatically.
Third parties
The only third party we share data with is Stripe, to process the Pro payment, under its own privacy policy. We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
Retention and your rights
Your rules, profiles and preferences live in your browser; you can delete them at any time from the extension's settings or by uninstalling it. License and purchase records are kept for accounting and support purposes. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification or erasure by contacting us.
